We read everything.
Best for: questions about how the tool works, data corrections (wrong address, missing property, stale values), and counties you'd like to see added. We prioritize counties by population and data availability.
What we can't do
HelpMeProtest does not file protests, represent owners, or give legal, tax, or appraisal advice. For your specific situation, contact your appraisal district directly or consult a qualified professional. Your appraisal district's contact information is on every county page.
Before you write
- Data looks wrong? Include the county, the address or account number, and what you expected to see.
- Want a county added? Tell us which one — we track every request.
- Found a bug? Include the page URL and what happened.
Not legal, tax, or appraisal advice. HelpMeProtest provides public-record data and
automated analysis to help you file your own property-tax protest. We are not your
agent or representative, we are not a registered property tax consultant, and we do not file on
your behalf. HelpMeProtest is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed
by, or acting on behalf of any appraisal district or government agency. No outcome is
guaranteed. The Harris County protest deadline is generally May 15
(or the next business day), and you are responsible for filing on time.
